Sporting Clays
Stoughton Conservation Club hosts four Sporting Clays events per year. Our Sporting Clays events our held on the third Saturday of the Month in May through August.
Each Sporting Clays course will have 50 targets.
What is Sporting Clays?
If you’re not familiar with Sporting Clays, it’s a clay shooting discipline originally designed to mimic real life hunting scenarios. Think of it like golf with a shotgun. There will be different stations like holes in golf and each one is different. Sporting Clays as a sport has continued to evolve and now sometimes courses are set up with some very fun and unique challenges, that you probably wouldn’t see while hunting.
