The Black Sheep Pistol league is a social, non-competitive league made up of folks who like to shoot holes in paper targets. The League is 14 weeks long, starting on the second Wednesday after Labor Day and concludes with a Fun Night/Potluck Dinner. We shoot from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. League fees are currently $50. League participation is limited to 27, with past league members having preference.
This is not an NRA sanctioned league and not part of the Thursday night Bullseye league. If you’re a competitive pistol shooter or a beginning pistol shooter who is looking for instruction, the Thursday night league may be a better choice for you. We keep score each week, but we shoot against ourselves, not each other. At the end of league, each participant gets a graph of their scores showing improvement…or maybe not. You may shoot whatever pistol you have: .22, centerfire, air pistol, etc., as long as it fits within the club rules. In another words, no magnum loads, shot shells, etc. You may shoot one handed or two handed.
While this is a fun league and we stress safety. Anyone acting in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave the league, with no refund of fees.
NOTICE: Volunteers needed for Pistol Range cleaning & maintenance. Please check the calendar for date and time. Training & equipment provided.
