Range Rules
- Read, understand, and follow all rules in “Fundamental Firearm & Range Rules.”
- No guns of any sort are permitted on the crossbow range.
- Bullet and field target points only when shooting at the backstops.
Broadheads and hunting points are only allowed when shooting at the sand pits. - Lift and lay the rubber backstop cover over the top of the backstop before placing your target.
Do not shoot the rubber cover. - Replace the rubber backstop cover when finished.
- Use only paper, cardboard, or thin (8 mil or less) plastic targets.
- Please vary where you place your target on the backstop, not just in the center.
This helps the backstops wear more evenly. - Follow range safety rules; all crossbows down and no bolts knocked when people are downrange.
- Crossbows are not to be pointed up at an angle where a misfire could go beyond the range.
