SCC Bullet Energy Calculator

This calculator can be used to find bullet impact energy to determine if a round is safe to use at the SCC indoor pistol range.

You can submit this information to the board to be approved for downloaded rounds in restricted calibers. For example, a bullseye shooter might load .357 Magnum brass with a reduced powder charge that results in a safe level of bullet energy.

Note: This calculator ignores any bullet slowdown caused wind resistance since at only 50 ft., it should be negligible.
